UK Heatwave: London Fire Brigade battle fires across capital

Assistant Commissioner of the London Fire Brigade tells Sky News that his crews are battling fires across the Capital.

It comes after the UK recorded a temperature above 40C for the first time ever.

I live in Suffolk and had to go out today for 20 minutes...it was unbearable. To see those firefighters in full kit, in this heat, next to fires trying to put them out....all I can say is respect.
