I like the uniqueness of this pattern. It simlar to a dresden but the extra dimension of tge diamond shapes gives it sizzle. 🎶💐💖

Donna brings such joy into her quilting patterns. It doesn’t matter what she is making, she just injects smiles.

Not only do you construct beautiful quilts with genuine love and joy but you share other designers work giving them complete attention and mention. Donna I just love all that you do, all your attention to detail, and your gentle guiding voice. You are truly a master! Thank you for sharing your gift!!

I read the comments about waste. Waste is in the eye of the beholder. I save my scraps, divide them into sizes (placed into zip lock bags) and have made some really crazy and whacky quilts, and sometimes they have been used to save the day. Unless you are sewing charms beside one another and making one plain square quilt, there will always be some waste, and again what one determines is waste is in the eye of the beholder.

I see this as a new and unique application for my quilting. The possibilities for this is only limited by your imagination.

Lastly, this is the reason there are so many patterns, just like a gazillion style of shoes. They don't always hit someone's hot button.

It is a great technique for a small challenging project and beautiful color combination and result. I wouldn't mind wasting a bit in comparison to the awesome result. Thank you

I initially thought the starbursts were English paper piecing. What a clever technique. Your quilting really enhanced the starbursts. Another great video thank you.

This has real paper piecing vibes - as an aside, I thought all quilting was done with scrap material and bits of paper. I thought all those 'American' style quilts were really advanced paper geometry! Then, after finally finishing a double quilt I have been making with small rectangle notelets as a template, a quilt I have been doing on and off for more than twenty years (!), I watched Donna wizz up a quilt in a matter of hours! Seriously! My second quilt, with Donna as my on line Quilting 'Auntie', took me a weekend - although the hand quilting is taking some time.

So, thank you Donna for being a truely great teacher, Claire, England. xx

I didn't think I was interested in this pattern, but it's Donna and she is always worth a watch. Part way through I thought - well this one isn't going to get done - and then suddenly, whoa, I like this, you could have fun with this. Loving the bright colours but you can go anywhere with the colour choice on this . Love it. Thank you.
