Mega Man (1994) Intro

Mega Man is a Japanese-American animated television series that was multi-produced by Capcom Productions, Ruby-Spears Productions, Ashi Productions, and Ocean Productions. This animated show was based on the game series of the same name. Mega Man began airing on September 11, 1994 and ended on December 10, 1995. This action packed show dealt with robotic scientists Dr. Thomas Light and Dr. Albert Wily who were completing their special project, helper robots, which would help humans with everyday work. However, Dr. Wily went rogue and had secretly reprogrammed the helper bots into fighting machines with the intent of using his robots to take over the world. Once Dr. Light learned of this evil plan he decided to reprogram one of his helper bots named Rock into a state-of-the-art combat robot. He used technology on Rock that would allow him to copy the abilities and weapons of any of Dr. Wily’s evil bots and use their own powers against them. Once all the modifications had been made to Rock, Dr. Light, renamed him Mega Man. Armed with his amazing new arm cannon and a robot dog named Rush who can turn into a variety of things namely a hovering transport Mega Man is ready to battle the evil bots and save humanity from Dr. Wily and his evil plans to take over the world.
