You can really see two different types of azir in worlds, either play like chovy or faker.

I’m going to say this now and people need to remember it for future reference. Chovy is really good, but unless he’s proactive as a midlaner for his team, he’ll never win worlds. You want AFK farm for late game in EVERY game, sure there are games where it works, but his passive play style and just doing nothing around the map even when he’s playing Ryze really cost his team today

Istg Chovy is playing a PvE game. It's him versus the minions only.

When both teams are even in gold, Chovy feels that GENG is at a great advantage and thus he does not hesitate to farm a sidelane. When GENG is 3k behind in gold, Chovy thinks that GENG is at a small advantage, and so he farms a sidelane to secure their "lead". When GENG is behind 7k in gold, Chovy thinks that GENG is at a disadvantage and so he looks for a sidelane to farm so he can regain control of the game. When GENG is 10K behind in gold, Chovy thinks that the team has reached a desperate situation and they are only waiting passively for their death if he does not farm a sidelane
