I'm no fan of hydrogen power, but as you say in your introduction, it is proposed as a way of storing excess power produced. Otherwise, the excess power would be wasted. It might make sense for short term storage if all power generation avoided fossil fuels. Inefficient, but better than letting excess power go to waste. I agree that in practice it is a dumb idea.

hey Dixon, these two effects (place-it & voice separator) are great tools for manipulating audio, thanx, as for orchestral instruments, after buying cinesamples musio, i think i will have all the orchestral instruments i need in my lifetime 😁, btw, musio is again 500$ (one time purchase) for a lifetime license (regular 1000$), wich lets you have all their existing instruments and also future libraries, cheers mate

Goyo is great for getting rid of that nasty room reverb if you have a cheap home studio. Makes everything sound more professional imo!

But I want to say that This plugin only works with the internet and it is very CPU intensive




Is this normal, Like this High CPU usage for this plugin ( My cpu goes 80%, i5 10H

Goyo - while it does remove other textures, you got to wonder how much "sauce" you loose by isolating old recording and the vocal - wobbly strings in narrow bandpass really can make that retro narration impact stronger. Of course, this is the matter of personal taste, it is good to have tool like this for different applications in sound design. However, it does sound like it leaves A LOT of the frequencies from the non vocal track, just applies quick amplitude envelope to quiet them down. Not super impressed - for surgical voice cleaning I would stick to Izotope RX or Steinberg SpectraLayers. Then again, for a free algo it does decent job if you need something isolated quickly for a mockup or a tryout. Same with Place it - interesting fun concept, but again, something I would rather do using impulse response and 3d sound placement in Nuendo. Still, experimenting with this might be cool, adding it as a bus effect for quarter of a bar can be a nice transition sound design. Good stuff. Arturia Brass - IDK, as for Augmented series, I really don't need yet another brass library, I use East West, Spitfire and NI brasses and that's more than enough, but sure, sounds nice and is well articulated. Interesting to see Arturia going into this product line, as top quality multisampling libraries are hard to produce and are a lots of work, and I really wonder how many of the Augmented series they sold so far. Good luck to you Dixon with that piano pack.
