For those who don't understand lemme explain:
Lil Billy sat hunched over his Chromebook, eyes glued to the screen. His fingers flew across the keyboard, building elaborate forts and firing pixelated weapons with practiced ease. Today was the day. Today, he was going to win a Victory Royale. He could feel it in his bones.
He'd dropped into Pleasant Park, a chaotic mess of a location, but Billy thrived in the chaos. He'd looted a legendary assault rifle within the first minute and already taken out three opponents. His heart pounded with excitement. This was his best game yet.
The storm was closing in, forcing the remaining players into a smaller and smaller circle. Billy peeked out from behind a stack of pallets, scanning the landscape. Only two players left. He spotted one hiding in a bush, an easy target. He lined up his shot, the crosshairs steady.
Suddenly, a rocket whizzed past his head, exploding against the pallets. Billy jumped back, startled. The player in the bush had a rocket launcher! He scrambled for cover, adrenaline coursing through his veins. This was getting intense.
He peeked out again. The rocket launcher guy was reloading, giving Billy a small window of opportunity. He aimed his assault rifle and fired a burst of shots. The rocket launcher guy stumbled, clutching his chest. He was down!
Only one player left. Billy's heart pounded in his chest. He could almost taste the Victory Royale. He cautiously moved forward, scanning the area. Where was the last player?
Then, he saw him. The last player was perched on top of the clock tower, sniping down at anyone who dared to move. Billy knew he had to act fast. The storm was closing in, and the clock tower was right in the center of the final circle.
He started building a ramp towards the clock tower, dodging sniper fire and weaving through the storm's edge. He was almost there, just a few more ramps and he'd be within striking distance.
Suddenly, the ground started to shake. Billy looked down, confused. What was happening?
Then, he saw it. A massive crack was forming in the ground beneath him, glowing with an eerie purple light. The crack was growing larger, spreading towards his ramp.
The clock tower sniper stopped firing, equally stunned by the phenomenon. Everyone on the map was witnessing the same thing. What was happening?

The crack reached Billy's ramp, and the ground beneath him began to crumble. He was going to fall! He tried to jump towards the clock tower, but it was too late. The ramp collapsed, sending him plummeting into the glowing purple abyss.
Billy found himself plummeting into the abyss, the world around him warping and distorting. He felt a jolt of pain, as if his body were being torn apart. Then, he was falling through a tunnel of swirling colors, a kaleidoscope of light and darkness.
When he finally regained consciousness, he found himself lying on a cold, stone floor. He was in a dark, cavernous room, illuminated by flickering torches. The air was thick with dust and the sound of dripping water echoed through the space.
He tried to stand up, but his legs felt weak. He stumbled forward, his hand reaching out for support. He felt something cold and rough against his fingers, and he realized he was clutching a piece of broken metal.
He looked up, and his heart skipped a beat. Standing before him was a towering figure, its form shrouded in darkness. The creature had glowing eyes, like embers burning in the night, and its voice was deep and rumbling, like thunder.
"Welcome, traveler, " the creature said, its voice echoing through the cavern. "You have entered the realm of the Rift."
Billy's heart pounded in his chest. He had no idea what the Rift was, or how he had ended up there. But he knew one thing for certain: he was in trouble.
"What is this place?" he asked, his voice trembling.
"The Rift, " the creature repeated, "is a place where the boundaries between worlds blur. It is a place of chaos and uncertainty, where the laws of physics no longer apply."
"How did I get here?" Billy asked.
"You were drawn here by your own curiosity, " the creature said. "You dared to explore the unknown, and you paid the price."
Billy felt a surge of anger. He had been playing a game, not exploring the unknown. He had been minding his own business, and now he was trapped in some strange, otherworldly dimension.
"I want to go home, " he said, his voice filled with desperation.
The creature chuckled, its laughter echoing through the cavern. "Home?" it said. "What is home to you? A pixelated world on a screen? A mere illusion?"
Billy didn't know how to respond. The creature was right, of course. His home was nothing more than a series of ones and zeros, a virtual reality created by a computer. But that didn't mean he wanted to be stuck in this strange, otherworldly dimension.
"I don't care what it is, " he said, "I want to go back to my own world."
The creature considered Billy's words for a moment. Then, it nodded.
"Very well, " it said. "But you must understand that there is a price to pay for returning home."
"What price?" Billy asked, his heart sinking.
"The price of your innocence, " the creature said. "Once you have seen the Rift, you can never go back to the way you were before."
Billy didn't know what the creature meant, but he knew that he didn't want to pay that price. He wanted to go home, and he wanted to be the same person he had always been.
"I'm not willing to pay that price, " he said.
The creature nodded. "Then you must stay here, " it said. "Forever."
Billy's heart sank. He was trapped. He would never see his family or friends again. He would never be able to live a normal life?
He closed his eyes, tears streaming down his face. Then he felt a shift in the ground.
