TV One has canceled NewsOne One Now. In a memo released on Wednesday afternoon, TV One’s interim GM, Michelle Rice stated:

"After four years of award-winning programming and distinguished service to our viewers as the only black daily newscast on television, the network has made the difficult decision to suspend the production of NewsOne Now as a daily morning news show."

NewsOne Now's last live broadcast will air December 21st, 2017.

This is a dam shame, Roland you have done tremendous things, but the machine has gotten to the ppl that own that station and as usual blacks always give into these white ppl. I am deeply hurt and pissed about this. Our voice needs to be heard and your show has been the only one that has delivered on a consistent basis. Where you go I will be there.

Thank you for this great show.

No don't boycott the network...build another B.E.T. like Bob Johnson did but DO NOT sell it this time. We have enough money to carry our own. I will actually pay a bill for access to an all black network.

The day that he goes, I will stop watching TV One. He's the only reason why I was watching the channel. They are going to lose a lot of viewers. I hope they're ready for the drop of ratings!

Going to miss you Roland. Love watching your show because you show the world that there are talented educated African Americans in all aspects of America.

Other news networks don’t feel and real as your show.

I’ll be looking out for your next show.

RL from Canada god bless!!!

This is unfortunate. Well Black People lets come together and PRACTICE GROUP ECONOMICS like Dr. Claude Anderson has been suggesting and FUND OUR OWN BLACK Network Show. Roland I look forward to you providing a Link to help support you in the future brother man.

Sad to see it go. Black people want to see Black news, we need that. Anything that is Black is attacked.

There's really nothing to look at on TV one anyways . I don't know if I will continue to support that channel. I enjoyed Roland's perspective on what's going on and he was one of the few that was honest and stood up for us African Americans. No thank you to the million reruns of shows.
