Testing Prone Hip Extension

Показать описание
Prone hip extension can be used as both a movement screening tool and an activation exercise to achieve hip extension.
This is a great tool for screening someone with knee or lower back issues. Ideally we want the glutes being the main muscles contracting in this movement. If performed at the start, before any other activation, you may notice either the lower back or hamstring will contract first 🧐
Most people who hit a plateu or injury have rushed into progressions without being able to achieve this movement.
