• Elmer's craft bond glue stick (extra strength) or PVA glue

You use inexpensive, readily available and easily mastered materials and tools and your end results are so professional.

It's like you set me up for success and I just can't fail when I try to make a book! Thank you so much for your wonderful videos. Earlier this year I searched high and low for tutorials and while the ones I found were enough to get me started, yours are truly what I needed to really get a good feel for bookbinding.

Thank you so much :)

I am absolutely fascinated to come across your channel. And i finally made my first coptic bound journal. Although i did not have loads of professional stuff. But i thought to give this a try with whatever supplies i already had.
For example. Used a chipboard from a box.. used photo copy paper.. used colored paper. Used needle and thin screw driver as an awl. And used normal cotton thread and waxed it with tea light candle. The journal turned out so cool. It was a little loose bound and that was bcos i did not want to pull the thread too tightly for the fear of breaking.
Thank you for succcchhhh clear tutorials on the binding topic. It made it a whole lot easier. I'll be making more diaries hopefully by getting better cover papers and sketch papers.
I haven't gone through all the vids yet but i wanted to know if u have a tutorial for fabric covers for journals.

I've watched most of the videos you've uploaded on your YouTube channel. The videos are absolutely brilliant and comprehensive.

I recently bought an expensive paperback book. Its contents are precious. Please make a video explaining how to turn a paperback book to hardcover book. If it's not possible, I would appreciate any suggestions to protect the corners from getting frayed.

Thank you.

thank you thank you for posting the materials needed at the beginning, so many tutorials don't do that and it's so frustrating

Yep, posters make cool book covers! I would use the glue stick in the video, rather than the regular Elmer's school glue.

I made one today with a piece of water scrapbook paper for the cover. It was so much fun gluing and sewing it all together. Thanks.

It's really cool and cheap if you just use some thin plywood to make the cover. It adds the nice natural touch.
