Texas family flees Ukraine with newly adopted son | Nightline

After more than a year of waiting, Kelci and Theron Jagge traveled to Ukraine to adopt their son Ruslan, but as tensions mounted between Russia and Ukraine, the new family was forced to flee.

His family is a blessing and I think people like this for taking in children but there's a lot of other children over here in America that needs help here at home that are sick that are homeless that need a family that you all could have adopted I don't understand why people have to go so far out to adopt and at the end of the day that's where I keep my ass in the United States because this is been going on for a long time the minute you step on their territory they can do what they want to you and the president can barely rescue and help their own army officers get out of jail or prison or be a prisoner of war in these other countries trying to rescue regular civilians
