MVHS has partnered with the Fifth Avenue Neighbors to showcase sites along the upper north side corridor of Youngstown's Fifth Avenue. This virtual tour covers properties further north than our previous tours of Lower Fifth Avenue and the Crandall Park neighborhood. The south and north boundaries for this tour will be Tod Avenue to Gypsy Lane. Suzanne Fleming guides us as we learn about the architecture, residents, and interesting facts of this historic area.

Awesome video! I love the houses on 5th Avenue and I hope you do virtual tour of Wick Parks houses. I love that you included the history of the people that actually lived or built these beautiful homes.

This is awesome. I’m going to take a drive tonight and have my own little tour of this area. I think people would be really interested in actually doing a guided tour around the historic parts of our city. I would at least. I LOVE YOU YOUNGSTOWN!

This was fascinating. When I am back in Ytown visiting, I walk my dog up and down this beautiful street and try to imagine life back in the day these homes were built. I hope you do more tours like this around the city. Maybe even one along Gyspy Lane would be interesting.
