PAM4 pfff why not QAM1024? If your optics are tunable what's stopping you from just modulating the tuning as well as the amplitude?
According to the University of Leicester the data required to teleport a human being, your cells, broken down into data, equates around 2.6 x 1042 bits. How are we ever going to get our transporter network running if it takes longer than the age of the universe to send someone?
