With the reality of North Koreans planting malicious code in apps and extensions for VS Code, I'm a bit nervous about trying something potentially less secure. I'll have to check it out in a sandbox. I recommend manually enabling the "Workspace Trust" feature and being a little paranoid about apps and extensions :).

Why are you using Cursor Chat instead of the Composer?
Composer has all the "AI Magic" to edit you files for you.
