Excellent lesson man. I was chord scaling seventh chords out on the high 4 strings. But i really like the sound of leaving out the 5th. Gonna work out some more TY.

Great vid as usual. I have a request;
I have no problem making riffs that sound awesome(to my ears at least) but I have an insanely huge amount of trouble piecing riffs together that go well, especially from a slow riff to a fast riff or the vice-versa. If you have any tips for this I'd love a comment or a video. I tend to get stuck into just creating variations of the same riff.
