Cleaning your knife with citrus oil quick tip.
The skin of all citrus contain a volatile oil. This oil can be used to clean away other oils and fats from you skin and knife blade. Oils such that might have arisen from preparing game and or eating your food. Keeping a blade clean is something which should not be overlooked. Many a hunter, camper hiker has ended up ruining their journeys simply because of poor camp hygiene. If water is precious and you are carrying some citrus of some kind then put the rind to use. Also as an added note, do not throw citrus peel into the bush as it takes a very long time to break down as microorganisms have a hard time to decompose the material due in part to the citrus oils in the skin.
To see how effective citrus oil is, I recommend marking your blades with a waterproof marker pen, usually this is difficult ink to remove. But now apply a little citrus oil and see what happens!

I'm disappointed you didn't demonstrate how flammable the liquid really is. Would have wanted to see you wield a burning knife in style.
