Happy 100th Birthday, Cpl. Scarinci!

U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Roland Scarinci, a WWII veteran, was honored at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #5 in Philadelphia on his 100th birthday, February 18, 2023. Scarinci was presented with a signed letter of appreciation from Gen. David H. Berger, Commandant of the Marine Corps, for his service from December 14, 1942, to February 19, 1946, at Marine Barracks Washington and in the Pacific Theater with the 1st Marine Division. He participated in the Battle of Okinawa and the occupation of China. This ceremony celebrated his service to the Marine Corps and the nation. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl. Jonathan L. Gonzalez)
