Today I am sharing 5 different Christmas veggie ideas to go alongside your turkey. I hope these veggie dishes can make your Christmas food a little different to wow your guests :)

VEGGIE IDEAS:
Pancetta Tarragon Asparagus
250g pancetta
Olive oil
5 shallots
3 bunches fresh asparagus, diagonally sliced
2tspn tarragon
Salt & Pepper
Spiced red cabbage
30g butter
1 onion
Pinch of ground cloves
1 cinnamon stick
1 small red cabbage, core removed, finely sliced
1 apples
1tspn soft brown sugar
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 tbsp cranberry jelly
Roast carrots & parsnips with honey & mustard
500g carrots, peeled
500g parsnips, peeled
2 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp clear honey
2 tbsp wholegrain mustard
4-6 sprigs thyme
Cauliflower cheese with creamy cheddar & broccoli sauce, almond
breadcrumb topping
3 cloves of garlic
50 g unsalted butter
50 g plain flour
600 ml semi-skimmed milk
500 g broccoli
75 g mature Cheddar cheese
1 kg cauliflower
2 slices of ciabatta or stale bread
2 sprigs of fresh thyme
olive oil
25 g flaked almonds
Peas with Crispy Bacon
2 bacon slices
1 onion
½ teaspoon grated orange rind
½ cup fresh orange juice
Salt & Pepper
500g frozen peas
1 teaspoon butter or margarine
1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
