Anna-Maria Helsing conducts the Philharmonia strings in Strum, by American composer Jessie Montgomery. The perfect introduction to Montgomery's music, Strum is full of dancing rhythms and snatches of lively, folk-inflected melody.

Hurricane Helen came thru last night-no damage. I woke up, turned on the radio and this song was playing..What a beautiful day.

I just saw the interview with the composer of this piece and she mentioned people saying they can hear the Jazz in her music lol, but all I'm hearing is Smoke on the Water 0 3 5 in the cello line

Excellent audio & video production married to a fantastic piece! I've had the pleasure of recording this version as well as the string quintet one. Where are the production credits?
