Love watching your videos. I live in Indiana and my brother farms 5000 acres of corn and soybeans, so I'm familiar with that. But it's interesting to see cotton and peanut production. Wondered if you missed the storm. Our kids, grandkids and great grandkids live in or near Graceville, so we heard about that. It was on TV here too
I believe Keefe could fix anything! Great idea on his vacuum. I'm a retired local 181 crane operator and built three of the Ohio River bridges. We used that same design, called an air lift pump, to pump water out of caissons on the river. Maybe a forty foot long 6 inch pipe with a 2 or 3 inch air line welded to it hooked to a huge compressor and lifted by the crane.

Actually on an air lift the air is pushed down and forces the water up. Love the ingenuity though!

Great to add a 2nd cotton picker. Are you going to add more acres of cotton or just try to finish quicker? The vacuum idea for cleaning out the oats is great, I think I can adapt that for some of my cleaning projects. Keefe is always thinking.

I wish cotton was above 90 cents around here in nc Carolina it’s 78 cents and $700 is expensive my boss did 110 acres it’s cotton price is not like it use to be

Bet you’re so excited to get a new picker. Triple R Farms from Alabama said they’re not planning to even plant cotton next year bc the prices are so low. They plant a variety of crops though & can make that switch. How are peanut prices looking?
