Just want to say I bought these same ones 5 years ago for hiking and today after a long journey with them I may be retiring them. But wow I did 1000s of miles, crossed rivers, climbed mountains and walked through miles of snow and they never gave up. Only issue is the leather toe cap got really hard and its uncomfortable now. I even tried to boil them and it helped a little but not quite enough. Whether your an adventurer or not I highly recommend these for the long term.

I tried on a pair today and they were literally the most uncomfortable shoes I ever wore in my life. Then I tried on the suede pair which were easily the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn in my life. Weird.
