A Layman's Reaction: Dimash Kudaibergen ft. Renat Gaissin - RIVER OF LOVE
The composition, once written by the famous composer Renat Gaisin, now has a new version of the sound. The original version is performed by the famous Kazakhstani dombra virtuoso Asylbek Ensepov.
In this version, Dimash Kudaibergen performed the part of dombyra.
The dombra, also known as dombyra (Kazakh: домбыра), (Persian: دمبوره) is a long-necked musical string instrument used by the Kazakhs, Hazaras, Uzbeks, Tajiks, Nogais, Bashkirs, and Tatars in their traditional folk music.[1][2] The dombra shares certain characteristics with the komuz and dutar instruments, such as its long, thin neck and oblong body shape. It is a popular instrument mostly among Turkic communities in Central Asian countries.
👉 The Dombra is a folk musical instrument widely used in Central Asia. It is made of wood and has a pear-shaped body with a long neck (only in Kazakhstan with frets) to which two gut strings are attached.
The dombra can be rightly called the queen of Kazakh instruments since the XIX-th century. Dombra can be met in each yurta; it was referred to as one the most necessary and obligatory things in the life of Kazakhs.
Although Kazakh musical instruments resemble those belonging to other tribes of the Central Asian ethnic group, they have their peculiarities dictated by national traditions. Today the dombra is a national symbol of the Kazakhs and Dimash said every Kasacian child learns this instrument.
Dinmuhammed Qanatuly Qudaibergen known professionally as Dimash Qudaibergen (sometimes seen with a "K" instead of a "Q"), is a Kazakh singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He is university-trained in classical as well as contemporary music, and is known for his exceptionally wide vocal range. He has performed songs in twelve languages.
Born: May 24, 1994 (age 30 years), Aktobe, Kazakhstan
Renat Gaisin is known as an Music, Compositor, and Original Music Composer. Born: 1979
