Do you ever get the feeling that you just remember a long lost film and just suddenly say "...I'm going to watch it again after all these years for some reason" this is one of them and I love it

I could literally dissect why this scene is cinematic awesomeness and criminally underrated, so epic and easily my favorite scene from the movie.

Major props to Jim Carrey. He sounds like he’s ran a marathon! I wonder what it felt like, after he recorded this part of the movie. Especially with all that growling, panting, and screaming! 🤯

This had no right to be this epic, but I'm glad that it was. John Powell seriously outdone himself.

I like how they hired an opera singer and an esteemed trumpet player for a 3D running elephant

Can we talk about how terrifying and Badass Horton looks when he's angry 1:40 it really shows that he could get violent on anyone in his way if he wanted to, he just chooses not to because thats not the kind of person he is

This scene filled me with so much dread as a kid. I think it's because of the music. Feels like the end of the world. The instant relief I got when he found that clover. Also, why the fuck does the music in this movie go so fucking hard?

Man! This scene reminds of Ice Age 3 when Diego was aggressively chasing the raptor to protect Ellie. Instead, this scene is far more intense and Horton’s objective to catch Vlad is more suspenseful.

Is anyone else addicted to listening/watching 1:39 over and over?

Pffft everyone knows that Horton hears domestic violence and doesn’t report it to the police is the best one.

Horton truly is the best elephant of all time. He's the only one who could jump.
