We’ve had a Trailblazer for 7 years now and we hope that thing runs forever. This is the most “fun to drive” vehicle I’ve ever owned and other owners have said the same thing. GM just got everything right when they built these. Not to mention, I absolutely love the sound and feel of that straight 6.

These are the best budget 4X4 out there. Nowhere do you get more for your money.

Just bought a 2004 LS with 129k miles. It runs and drives great so far and for 3200$ it was a steal

Nice review, we owned a 2002 Chevy trailblazer that we put 250, 000 miles on it and it still ran great when I sold it. It was the best vehicle that I have owned and I missed it after we sold it.

Consider this used Subarus cost much more than usually give head gasket problems around 150000! You would not believe what it cost to get those fixed. The 4.2 inline 6 is pretty much Bulletproof, Transmissions give problems because people don't change the fluid.

My mom is getting a new car and she’s giving me her trailblazer. It’s been in a garage it’s whole life and it has no rust and has been well maintained. I’m happy to get that thing for nothing

My daily driver is a 2008 Trailblazer 4x4 LT. It's got 195k miles on it and it runs great! I keep it nice, upgraded the radio/speakers, and just left the rest stock. The I6 motor is smooooth! When I first got it, I legit wondered if the engine died at stop light because it was that smooth and quiet. I'm really hoping to keep it going for another ~7 years or so. My steering is much sharper than what's shown in the video, so not sure what's up with that. Maybe that particular one has some worn components or needs an alignment?

I have an '06 with just over 260 hundred thousand miles and so far it has been good but the previous owner ran it into the ground so I've been building it up and honestly all that's left is a fuel pump and that stupid airbag sensor. I can see this running for a lot more years

Im on my 2nd trailblazer, both being the 05 LS....the 2nd one was owned by one of those types that think since it comes with oil u never have to change it ...it was running on 3 of the 6 cylinders and needed a lot of attention when I bought it...the body was perfect though...after doing some work..coils, vvt solenoid and can positioning sensor and several oil changes to clean out the crap she runs great...I’ve put 45, 000 hard miles on her and yes a lot of work such as water pump twice and cleaning throttle body etc...I know it’ll keep me on the road for along time..the engine still runs strong at 200, 000 miles although the electronic everything has a hard time in the cold cold weather we get in the Midwest...I’ve replaced the entire front end on her after an accident that she survived somehow...the frame on these things are solid...it has the horsepower at take off and also plenty to tow...I’ve towed some heavy hauls at it’s max of 6, 000lbs on the interstate and it handled it like a champ...they’re cheaply made but all around it’s a good truck and what I like about it...easy to work on...the front end steering knuckle etc is something else...the size with the upper ball joint located above the tire prevents the thing from having bigger tires on it but u can turn on a dime...I don’t like the lug size being an oddball making time replacement difficult and expensive...it’s stupid that chevy did that..

I bought my first generation blue Chevy Trailblazer LS in 2001 but is was the 2002 first and 20-years later is still looking good and running fairly well. Love this SUV. It has 179K with all originals with very little replacements parts with standard maintenance. It was the best buy ever for a single educator on a budget with sophisticated taste for a smooth ride, nice look and great on gas. What a blessing from God! Thank you, Lord for letting me pay it off over 16- years ago. A great car! A great buy for the money! I love driving it as much as my Chevy Avalanche 😇😇😇😇😇

I have a 2007 LT with just north of 125k on it. Good vehicle but unfortunately GM used cheap steal lines for fuel, brakes and transmission cooler so now I'm in the process of changing them all.

Traverse = Garbage compared to my 2003 Trailblazer 4x4 LTZ with 158k miles. I drive it every day. I bought it with 100k miles on it. Great SUV. I don't go off roading with it though. Just drive it normal in the city and haul my RC stuff in it.
