Something Is Seriously Wrong in Crucible PVP - Destiny 2

From lobby balancing to matchmaking, something is clearly off with the Crucible in Destiny 2 right now since the recent update to the sandbox with 7.35. Today I'm showing lobbies and gameplay to demonstrate why I believe something is very wrong under the hood.

"we're breaking up those teams to find you a better match." Gives me the same team. Yeah its totally broken.

Yeah, most games I play we either manhandle the other team, or get manhandled by them. It's nuts.

having the same thing happen to me in supremacy. Queue times through the roof and games starting with half full lobbies.

In the EU it seems like they have Conditional Finality based matchmaking. It’s like the ticket for entry into the Crucible!

My connection experience has been absolutely atrocious no matter what i do. People lagging their asses off.

The only consistency I have seen in matchmaking across the various crucible modes is that, "breaking up the teams to find a better match" still means you're about to be thrown into a match in progress where the other team all has supers and is steamrolling. I also played a few 3v3 supremacy matches after waiting in the que for a long time.

I'm disabled, got problems with coordination and fine motor control, i used to be able to cover some of what I'm physically unable to do with ability uptime and team support but this new update has made pvp basically unplayable for me.

I tried to play supremacy and had someone call me useless in the text chat and it's just...I just wanna have fun and play the game I love, man.

When he started reading those trials stats for the .28 k/d I had to make sure it wasn’t me 🤣🤣🤣

I find my shots aren’t registering a lot and invisible bullets, I quit playing.

The worst is when you bring these issues up on reddit, Facebook, twitch. You get told to play a different game or "Skill issue"

What I’ve noticed:
1. Lobbies take a LONG time to load and it’s been a lot of 4v4 or 4v5.
2. Clone spam is way down as is general threadling spam.
3. Lots more primary play and with that came a lot more team shooting.
4. Disjunction and Citadel need to go away permanently.

The same goes for solo Trials. I still go flawless but it feels like I have to be on team fodder for a set amount of matches before I get enough consistent teammates where I can string wins together.

I'm with you. My lobbies have been constant snowballing where if I dont get at least 40 kills, its a blowout because the people i get matched with are single digit kills and the entire enemy team in the 20's or minimum 15. It's not the losing that sucks. It's the absolute lopsided blowouts.

The recent changes caused me to completely abandon snipers. The ammo economy just doesn’t make it worth. Trials is a complete mess. Wanted a summoner but playing that mode as a solo player actively makes me hate PvP lol

This morning I wanted to try a new build in a quick Supremacy match... took me 10 minutes to get a game started and was down 3-20 almost immediately. Got steamrolled so bad we triggered mercy (thankfully), but I didn't have the patience to wait 10 more minutes for matchmaking to try again.

Agreed, I play during peak hours (evenings in US), and have had many games start with partial lobbies. And I usually play solo or maybe duos

I’ve been getting curb stomped in Supremacy and my KD is well above positive - I feel like I am getting killed far too easily and can’t hit the broadside of a barn in my duels
