Very nice tutorial, would it be possible to everse or fold up or rolled up a tube inside out like snail eyes mechanism?

This is probably the most useful tutorial on chained transform matrices on the internet! Extremely well articulated and detailed. Thank you!!

this tutorial was really cool to follow. I mean at some point I was having trouble wrapping my head around all the matrices but man... this is a nice effect. I learned a lot. thank you!

Hi! This is so cool! Is there any way to add a control for the scale of each polygon as well so they scale frm 0 % to 100% as they rotate?

I have done this in the past on a single strip of polygons. Much less to consider than this problem. I am about to rip some wallpaper in a procedural way and this will be handy to have in the back of my head.

For better or worse I will be doing it in VOPs.

Incredible! I am taking my first steps in Houdini (coming from geometry nodes in blender) and these more in depth tutorials help to establish good habits early on in the learning process. Many thanks!!

I'm loving it, thanks for the tutorial! I await the day, I'm able to design stuff like this on my own.

So how would I be able to group on the primatives that are on the inside of the object so I can apply a separate material for the inside that just the outside?
