0x0003 - Tiva Module Assembly

I'm out of town this week so today we take a look back to a video I had made over a year ago. This was one of a handful of videos that I had made while trying to get the feel of how I would setup my filming and editing workflow. So be prepared for some clunky edits and rambling because this was never meant to be released!

This is the assembly of a custom module PCB for a Tiva C Series TM4C123 MCU. It is a fairly powerful MCU when compared to an Arduino. I needed a go to solution for quickly prototyping PCBs that were milled (hence a MCU layout being difficult)and designed this board. There were a couple of problems that have all been resolved in a new layout already.

I know a lot of you came over from Druaga1's channel and are used to "computer adventure" type videos. I do that somewhat but I also do programming, electronics, and have a rather large collection of older games both PC and console. I see myself as making explorative and educational videos with a focus on nostalgic and modern technology. So you can expect to see a variety of content on this channel.

I wish I was as good as you are at fixing those solder bridges. I'm pretty sure I've cooked my chip at this point because I played with it so much.

I loved your work, but I wonder if you could upload the diagram of the card you made and which module did you use to load the program in tm4c123? It would be very helpful, thank you.

Wow, I was just about to design a custom TM4C board myself as a small breakout for integrating into the VDD/GND lines of other custom boards I am working on - never expected to actually find this on youtube though! So there's a lot of great tips here for me, espacially the XDS100 which I didn't know anything about, so was going to try and do similar by daisy chaining a Tiva Launchpad for use as a programmer. I guess your BOM is just the standard TI recommendations too?
