My brother used to take a taxi cab from San Francisco to San Rafael less than a 15 mile drive probably no more than 20 to 30 minutes would pay $85 in cash every time

Was happy to hear this until she color coded this bill. I'm a 70 year old WHITE WOMAN who happens to be a Uber driver. AND an American citizen. Do bad she had to ruin a good thing. Sick!

Why do we have to wait until January? Just put it in effect in July instead.

I past many of the MULDA drivers sitting in the cage on Post Rd by the airport the other day doing nothing but waiting for a magical ride that's going to pay all their bills - While i have done 4 airport runs back-to-back and they are still sitting and talking . The 30% of us drivers do 2/3 of the Rides in Minnesota and making a good living - But now your going to reward drivers like many in the MULDA group who simply are not productive and can't run there own business

Drivers this isnt a win. Push Wridz so you have a competitor to equalize the market. You will be protesting for external fees in a few months. Dont switch up on Wridz as you will be bait n switched 💯

10 years ago I drove for Uber. I made $2/mile Uber only took 20% of the provided the phone and the cell data.
Fast-forward 10 years and Uber is paying 67 cents a mile, no phone no data and they take up to 70% of the fare

Costs have gone up for everything. Have you been to a mechanic lately? Car insurance? Food? Health Insurance? Dental?
Uber drivers pay for all of the above. And Uber/Lyft has the audacity to say we're LEAVING! because they don't want to pay!??
Who pays for this? The Driver.

Meanwhile Metro bus drivers avg $35/hr full benefits. Could you imagine if the Bus Drivers had to pay for the Bus, maintenance, Insurance, gas and had to keep the bus clean inside and out?
And they Have transit police! All for a service that loses millions of taxpayer dollars, annually.

But you can't pay drivers, a similar wage to a bus driver. when Uber/Lyft is making billions and not losing millions like the taxpayer funded Metro Bus!

The State of Minnesota begged for crumbs and got it!
Congrats on nothing!
