Isshiki Beach Hayama in the Winter season

For beach lovers, Hayama is certainly one of the best places to visit. Be sure to head back down onto the beach for sundown though: Isshiki Beach sunsets can be spectacular, with a silhouetted Mt. Fuji often part of the scenery.

The area is perhaps best known for being home of one of the Imperial Villas as well as home to Japan’s rich and famous. Despite this, Hayama has a wonderful vibe that makes it a very family friendly destination.
