That's right, 8x plus, storage for this cabinet. I do the math at the end of the video.

Very good job. It gets better and better as I watch these cabinets.
I wish you had spent some time showing us how the final doors work and hinge section, open up the cabinet at the end. That was frustrating. Finished pictures show how each piece looks once assembled and very necessary.
The concept is brilliant, thank you!

Love the creative gluing system with the painters tape. So clever.

I'm in the process of doing a major reorg of space in my 2-car garage shop and decided that your awesome storage cabinet would feature prominently in replacing the 5'x7' Rubbermaid shed which used to store all of my small tools and supplies but was taking up much needed floor space.
So I built a dividing wall out of 2x4s and plywood panels (8'x8') and the 5ft x 2.5ft x 17" storage cabinet now hangs on one side of that wall on the upper part of the wall. I can now put my jointer, thickness planer, benchtop drill press and soon to be acquired drum sander, all on mobile bases, under the storage cabinet. I think when I'm finished loading it, most of the stuff previously housed in the Rubbermaid shed will fit into the new cabinet.
Awesome design sir! You continue to inspire me.

What a fantastic design, the best I have seen yet. I have to give this a go as it will be perfect for my tiny workshop.

you're timing is impeccable! I have a wall that I was designing for tool storage. My area for hanging the cabinet is slightly larger approximately 9' long, but I was looking thru videos to see what others have created. I need to maximize the space and this design is perfect for what I am looking to do. I love the Hinge Idea. Time to break out the Shapeoko and get to cutting!!

I just want to thank you for sharing all your great ideals. I’m going to start my own storage space but I’m going to use my existing cabinets and gut them use your great ideal they are not as wide but I know I can get lot more storage using this ideal. Thanks again

I am for sure going to make 2 of these for hand tools and other things like saw blades . I hate tool boxes and drawers because I always find my self opening multiple drawers to find things

I want to know how you are going to remove the tools in the right corner of the bottom of the cabinet, the screw drivers. just yanking your chain. but it does look like they are trapped.

Wow amazing video just in time I'm just about to build another 30 inch cabinet for the shop wall but instead of using solid panels for the dividers I'm gonna use PVC pegboard.

To the two idiots who gave this video a thumbs down: You only wish you had half the knowledge that this guy has in his sock drawer..This is INGENIOUS! 🤘

Great video! I really like this idea - think I'm going to have to make my own. Would you be willing to share the design of the top and bottom hinge?

Question please, what size and thickness are your panels inside the cabinet? I did not catch it in the video, especially the thickness. Thank you sir.

I watched a video saying carpet tape is a better method than using the glue and painter's tape, have you tried that method? This cabinet is AWESOME! I plan to make one thank you for doing this video!!!!

I was wondering if you were willing to share the cut file for the hinges?
