I actually like this format a lot. It's basically an improved version of the LCK Playoff format. The lowest seed has to earn their way to the Finals. #1 doesn't have to wait a whole month to play 1 Bo5. And #2 seed is rewarded for being better than the rest of the seeded teams other than #1, by being given a second chance. Plus "Semis" is Hype af

So there's no difference between first and second. It also seems kind of weird to me that the winner of the b05 between the 1st and 2nd place teams get rewarded just by likely having to face that same opponent in another b05.

One question. Which matches would still be played in the LEC studio and which matches would be played at the finals location. Previously we had the Finals and 3rd place match. Would in the example provided the Team 2 vs 3 match and the final match between 1 vs 3 all be played at the Finals location?

Looks like they're trying to actually get the top 3 teams from the region for worlds, instead of one team having an easy bracket and lucking there way to worlds

Wait so basically the juggernaut loser have 2 lives/chances and the winner does not get an advantage for winning in term of life/chance? Why not just straight up make it Double Elimination bracket? The juggernaut winner should get advantage for winning IMO.

So it doesn't really matter if u end up 3rd-6th, and puts Team2 in a pretty forgiving spot
