How Your Mental Mess is a Normal Part of Human Growth

Показать описание
It's really to help people understand that it's okay to be a mess.
If you are human, making a mess is a normal part of existence.
And the more we try and deny that, the worse it will become.
So, if we recognize that, then we can manage it.
And as soon, as we manage our mental mess, we can then get into these incredibly high intellectual states, cognitive flexibility and creativity, and that kind of thing.
So, it's a normal human response to feel anxious, depressed, frustrated, irritated, exasperated, concerned, worried.
These are all responses there.
They're warning signals.
They're warning signals to us that something's going on in our life.
They're not that you have now got in your psychiatric brain disease or something.
It's actually that something is going on in your life that you need to pay attention to.
So, cleaning up your mental mess is really to put into the hands of everyone, no matter what age, no matter what you believe, no matter who you are, you have a mind.
Your mind is always with you, and you can, you go... you wake up with your mind, you go to bed with your mind, you eat with your mind, you're talking and listening now with your mind, it never stops.
