Quick Trail Fix On Steelbender

We got a call for a jeep on Steelbender Trail that the engine had died and wouldn't restart. We ran out in Mini-Mater and was checking everything out. He said he had climbed one ledge and slammed into the other and it had died. We plugged in the scanner and everything was working but low fuel pressure. So we began checking fuses. We found a blown fuse for the fuel pump. We replaced it and it started up. So we carefully got it out of there. That way he could take it to a shop to find out if there was another issue. On the way out we started to hear a noise coming from Mini-Mater. Some of you have commented that you heard some noises as we were pulling it in and out of the shop. Well what it was finally showed itself. We pulled the rear cover and found broke ring gear teeth. So now back to the drawing board with that rig. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

I liked the customer's attitude. He said the Jeep was more capable than he was. And he followed instructions from Rory. Best of all, he made it out of there! Bummer about the Mini-Mater's gears, but at least it made it home, too. Great video, excellent photography and commentary.

Tbh, despite his modesty, that customer was pretty capable. And he had the wherewithal to carry spare fuel, if needed. The same cannot be said for many.
