I never realized how much I needed to see a woman in a fancy sari go full crouching tiger hidden dragon. Outstanding.

Her skirt forming perfect circles during the cartwheel kicks is cinematic artistry!

I saw this at Sundance just a few days ago and stayed for the Q&A with the director and star and it was by-far the best movie I saw. This movie is SO much fun, well-written, and well-acted. If you have girls, go take them to see this. There's no blood, or gore, and only a few swear words. I will see it again when it comes out and then I'll buy it, to support everyone involved in making this gem. Seriously, it's an awesome movie.

I literally didn't have to make it a full minute into the trailer before I decided "Yes. Absolutely yes. To just everything, YES!" I am SO hyped to see this movie.

saw this movie this weekend and it was so fun and ridiculous and unique! AND HILARIOUS
I loved it to pieces. It was so well paced and even the side characters were amazing.
And Ria's arc about being scared she can't make it as a stuntwoman and Lena dropping out of art school and Ria projecting onto her was so relatable. The fear of not doing well in the things you're passionate about, maybe due to external disapproval or maybe to internal insecurity, but also the idea that you can be passionate about something and stop and still be okay and not stake your worth on one thing and. Its just really good.

Originally was going to watch this for the actress Ella Bruccoleri (character who shouts “LETS DECIMATE THIS MOTHER” in the trailer) but damn the entire film looks EPIC!!! Can April not come any quicker 😭

Just saw this in the cinema today, and it was tons of fun - genre-blending and joyous. So pleased to see director Nida Manzoor get a shot at the big-time after her excellent but little-known 6-part TV series "We Are Lady Parts". If you like this movie, track down Lady Parts, you won't be disappointed.

Great to see some Western-Southasian Martial Arts content ! Looks like a light parody of Bollywood and the Martial Arts genre in general too so a combo of a lot of things and I'm all for it!

idk but i'm getting huge Everything, Everywhere, All At Once vibes from this! maybe because you see these serious characters in preposterous situations, also the presence of literal evil forces under the guise of apparently normal humans
