Black Widow 2.0 Hybrid, hooks a lot more then I expected

I just got the ball and can’t get it to hook unless I take my thumb out and rip it. I’m clearly doing something wrong lol but the ball looks awesome

I currently roll with a 15lb ghost pearl, would this be more aggressive on the backend of things in hook ability?
