It is a good thing about doing your own calculations and knowing tax laws and functions. Where you are also protecting oneself from the mistakes on the part of other people concerning the legal taxation of oneself.

She's not kidding. I got one of those. It was for $36, 000. It literally took my breath away.
Come to find out, my company had failed to report income until it was two years late!
They themselves received a $50, 000 fine. But that didn't help me.
After I could breathe again. I went to a tax attorney. He referred me to a tort attorney.
This man was glad to see me coming. Instead of settling, the company decided to take it to court 😱
By the time it was all over almost 3 years later. My company owed $56, 000 which is what my tax bill had grown to. $150, 000 for my legal fees.
What's a very nice check for me... Which was tax free😊

I thought the transcripts were generated FROM my return. If the IRS has collated payments made to me then I'll need to see that data BEFORE I file. Right?
