Bitcoin might have NSA origins. SHA-256 is the secure hashing algorithm which is an essential part of Bitcoin's architecture. It is an NSA hash function algorithm first published in 2001. Knowledge of this series gives you a good knowledge to trade smartly

I actually opened this in a hurry just to look for what could be going on with WinRAR, only to see it's just Microsoft supporting the format, and I breathed a sigh of relief. Windows also supports zip 'natively' and that has always been _T R A S H_ user experience, slow and unforgiving (Sorry, Dave). Me and my buddy WinRAR are still fine.

I once paid for a program that I really liked. it was a pdf scanner program that I could automate with a bat script. after reinstalling my os, I went looking for the license key, couldn't find it. I contacted the company for help and they told me to buy another I figured out which file to copy from my backups and continued using the license I paid for before. I can't stand greed. it's rare I pay for software. when I do give money for software, I only hope they are a company with good morals and not greedy like most.

When I worked for Domino's in college (14 years ago) There was a $1.10 delivery fee. I would get 80 cents of it, and got paid 6:15 and hour. It was suppose to work out that if I took 2 deliveries an hour I would make or surpass minimum wage.

Pretty sure there's more than two of us with a WinRAR license.

Going from keyboard only (Wolfenstein 3D and the like) to mouse and keyboard was instant for me.
I too have a WinRAR license and I intend to keep using WinRAR.

9:55 False Doom was Arrow keys and Mouse. WASD wasn't a thing back in the mid-90's. And yes Doom supported the mouse.

That Activision is still actively selling the classic games & even logging into the menu can get your pc hacked is unbelievable.

There hasn't really been a reason to use winrar for many years now. 7-Zip is free and is updated whenever there is a new version of winrar compression released. IIRC the only drawback to 7-Zip is that it can't create rar files, only extract. But how many people create rar files versus how many only extract them? I'd say 1 out of 10, 000 or 100, 000....

I too bought a winrar license long ago. I had been using it for years as a kid with a small harddrive and with the only way of moving files being a floppy drive. I felt like they earned their sale finally 😂

i worked as a low level delivery driver and the driver manager and trainer for a papa johns franchisee

it depends from franchise owner to franchise owner. The stores that contract a 3rd party to handle deliveries, the drivers do get the whole delivery fee, and the owner pays an additional amount to the contract company, 2.50+2.50 back in 2014. the additional 2.50 gets split up. the driver gets an additional.50, , $1 went to me asthe site manager for drivers and $1 went to the owner. Diver keeps their tips. Thus was a good arrangement for stores serving a 10mil radius, serving 40+ deliveries on a normal day and up to 120 deliveries on game nights and holidays. Best job i ever had. the company went under over tax evasion though. drivers use their own cars. if you are efficient in fuel usge, navigation, and greeted the customer with a big smile, a driver could clock in $30 an hour from 3pm to midnight, bust most drivers were brash teenagers, so take that with a pile of salt

Most stores have employees run deliveries and they hate it because their hourly pay is paused while they are out of the store, but they do get the delivery fee and most have to share tips with the store crew.

The good thing for installing WinRAR on Linux via Wine is, when the 45-day trial period ends you can uninstall the program PLUS manually delete several folders related to WinRAR installation, then reinstall WinRAR and the trial period will reset to zero!

But once I have learned about 7-zip, I will never go back to that WinRAR crap ever again!!!
