I am not religious or anything but I have been becoming interested in modest dressing (it just feels secure, like I have armor or something) and I absolutely love this video. (:

I love her color choices, it's amazing and so pleasing. Not too loud, but it's like really soft looking. Love it

I really love this..

I'm currently looking into Islam and I've started dressing modestly.

However I'm in Australia and I'm finding it difficult to find modest clothing so thanks for the hacks

If you find a dress that you like but maybe it’s too short, you can wear a long skirt over it and use the short dress under as a “top”

Hi! This video come up in my “suggestion” from YouTube, and I am a Christian, but do follow some Muslim ladies. If you are a more “conservative” Muslim lady I found that often the channel and the topics that are shared are more wholesome, and are right in my galley 😊🙌
I love these hacks. I only where skirts, and my tips is to by some pencil skirts in a size or to larger, at the length you prefer, and use them under dresses that are to short for your preference. Personally I would not use pencil skirts under mini dresses or shorter tunics, since the do not cover enough for my curves, but around knee length are them perfect for me. I like my skirts to be below the knees, covering knees in all movements, so I mostly go for mid calf skirts. I am petite/5, 3” with hour glass shape. I have some basic of them, all bought here in Norway.
I also buy my thank tops at the kid section where them often are higher up. H&M have some that I mostly use. They are under my collarbone, but I guess a hijab would cover the rest 🤔💕 I also buy basic long sleeve jersey tops to wear under either more sheer blouses, or if them do not have long sleeves. I have some beautiful blouses that several has ask me if are linned, and no they are not, I just have layered them with the right color under 😊 It’s like a good slip, just under blouses 😍🙌
Last more funny tricks is to check for wind before getting dress, and choose what you wear after that. A flowy skirt is not modest if it takes of 🤣 I alway wear a elastic hair band on my wrist, and if the skirt is flying, take some of the wide from the skirt and put it in the elastic. It may not look the cutes, but it really is a life saver 🤣

Thank you for sharing 💕 Love from Johanne, Norway

I’m not Muslim but I’m Christian and I follow the Bible so these are great tips! Especially wearing pants with a short dress :)

For layering under V necks, I would also suggest buying from Halftee. It's more expensive but it's worth the investment

Love all your hacks, I definitely do the V neck one and I’ll try the waist jeans one...I know what you mean guuuurl I have the exact same problem!
Other hacks I’ve found useful is to get midi dresses that have buttons all the way down, open up those buttons and wear it like a cardigan with a belt on top if needed, and underneath a slightly loose mono chrome outfit. I find this is better than just getting a midi cardigan because a midi dress was made to be fully closed and therefore has more closure or coverage than a cardigan does that was obviously was made to be open if that makes sense?
Also I’ve found that wearing wide leg jumpsuits that have strappy backs with a white top underneath looks modest trendy and amazing
Aslooo you know those gorgeous crop tops and beaded crop jackets that you can never wear? Well I’ve found that pairing them with high waisted wide leg trousers do the trick
And you those tight long sleeve maxi dresses that are impossible to wear because the show everything, I’ve found pairing them with a boyfriend loose below the bottom denim jacket that has a few tears in them looks cool

Also you know those baggy jeans with tears in them so bad they show you legs underneath, I’ve found lining them with some black or white cloth at the Tailor’s does miracles

Then there is always the wide below the knee kimonos that are super loose and full overage and allow you to wear a little lighter in the trouser area

I’m trying to think what else?

Oh you know those gorgeous maxi evening dresses that have beautiful skirts but very very revealing tops? I’ve found that if you wear a semi fitted fully lined dressy crop top on top of the dress it’ll just look like you are wearing a beautiful skirt and the fully lined crop top will completely obliterate the top part of the dress

You know those mini dresses that are have cut out embroidery that look so cute but show your skin? I find that as long as the color of the dress is light, you can wear a tight white/nude top underneath it so your skin doesn’t show and I’ve sometimes found that it even looks better than had your skin actullly shown as it gives more of a subtle contrast making the mini dress pop, and I find as long as you pair them with white nude or beige color loose ish trousers (depending on what the color or the top underneath you wore was) it really makes for a fully cohesive outfit.

And lastly you know those maxi kimono cardigan thingies that almost look like an abaya but aren’t?
One of those with a monochrome tighter outfit underneath and a belt over the kimono so you aren’t completely shapeless, this works with a tight dress underneath too. I find that the trick is to match the outside belt to whatever the monochrome outfit it is you are wearing underneath is for a more put together modest look

And lastly the boot hack also works well with midi wide leg trousers or jumpsuits, I’ve found that pairing them with a jacket over the top that is the same color and texture as the boots makes for a more intentional fashion statement rather than just a cover up, so if like you are wearing black leather boots, style them with a black leather jacket too
