OMG, I love Vladimir! He's a delight; I could listen to him all day! Please ask him to say "Moose and squirrel"

last year I tried the disposable traps you put water in, I did not catch one single yellow jacket. But I went through a ton of spray cans of poison and they just kept coming. I had to hire a professional. I put up a couple of the re-usable cylinders a couple of weeks ago near where there were yellow jackets last year, and so far, none trapped. Yesterday I saw a couple of scouts elsewhere in the yard and I got another reusable cylinder trap and put it where the scout had been scouting. I did not use the powder attractant but went straight to the 10-week pod. So far, nothing trapped. I'd much rather trap them early than have to literally go into battle against them.

I bought two of these at Home depot today. The packets had white powder in them, not the Liquid i seen in another video. There was very little powder

As with yellow jackets, they love wet cat food and I'm adding in some of that with these traps. Three nests to take care of.

So can’t they just get out after they get in? I’m having a hard time understanding what’s keeping them in

For the last two years, I've tried to use the Rescue "attractants, " but have found them no more effective than simple cotton balls . . . in other words, they seem to attract NO yellow jackets just using the designated "attractants." I have no problem with the device itself or their design, but I'm wondering if I've been scammed on the "attractants, " recently. In the summer of 2018, I actually see the substance identified as the "attractant, " and it did seem to, by itself, attract the insects. No such experience in 2019 and 2020. I'm wondering if I DID in fact just buy simple cotton balls these last two years. Am I wrong?

The attractant works but the trap doesn’t. I have swarms of bees that aren’t going into the trap. Can’t go near it to take it down

We bought the new reusable Yellowjacket Traps with 2 chambers and it trapped a Queen Yellowjacket for about a half a day but then she figured out how to climb back down inside the green cone and escaped out of the bottom holes! You all need to redesign your reusable trap with 2 chambers because Yellowjackets can & WILL escape out of the bottom! We will stick with the disposable traps until you all redesign the 2 chamber reusable trap.

Hornets/Yellow Jackets have two modes: Horny and Hungry. If the attractant isn't working, try appealing to hunger. A Rescue bait station (cone within cylinder type) baited with KFC/Roast chicken joints cut in small chunks attracts hornets like crazy. Load the trap, and set in direct sun, and watch the bodies pile-up! Just make sure the bait is aromatic and not too dry.

What they don't tell you here is that there are 'east of the rockies' and 'west of the rockies' traps that are very different b/c apparently yellowjackets are attracted to different pheromones and they stay on their respective side of the Rocky Mountain range. . . . Who knew? ? ? On the bag traps . . . there is a small 'E' . . or . . 'W' after the title of the trap. I don't know bout the ones like in this video though.
