I’ve been an independent, fundamental Baptist for 36 years and I pastored an IFB church for 17 years and I thoroughly appreciate your neutral approach on this channel. One weakness of a “right” position is that there is a tendency to misrepresent opposing viewpoints in order to bolster one’s own position or to strengthen the argument against the opposition. We fundamentalists are guilty of this often. I’ve learned a lot of helpful information from your videos, please keep up the good work.

I must say, as a Christian who is interested in why names matter, having my mind being molded by three different countries with entirely different understandings of labels (e.g. Baptist is worlds apart as understood in Germany and the US), I am very thankful for your channel, "a visual encyclopedia of churches." I honestly like you presenting stuff from a neutral point of view. You lay out the facts and don't set up strawmen and I learn a lot from them. And I don't feel like you're gunning for anyone. I can study the Bible and decide for myself and notice I don't always neatly agree with everything with my own denomination. My 14 year old son always turns to this channel to understand different denominations and he's binged a lot of your channel.

I certainly feel those "big questions" unanswered as I'm actively in the process of seeking certain truthes, but I must say, your execution of neutrality is EXTREMELY well done. Honestly this channel is great. I don't need you to tell me what to think or believe, I've already done my own study for that, but you're explaining what others believe in a neutral stance really helps me to learn what they believe. I know you're a professor at an independent Baptist college and even though we disagree on quite a few things I still see you as a brother in Christ. Whether or not we all agree with each other I think it is important that we all understand each other.
