Ok now time for the explanation
Act 1 is Kanye becoming the asshole. He’s become famous. He feels untouchable. He acts like he’s a god. He’s finally living his dark fantasy. He’s a total dick, Until something happens that will change his world forever.

Act 2: Kanye’s mother has died and he is going through the roughest point in his life. On welcome to heartbreak, he reflects on the fact that while he’s become very successful he has no family or kids and has never found true love. Eventually on hold my liquor he drinks himself into oblivion and finds him self going down the road looking at all the streetlights, thinking about how quick Life is passing him by. On runaway he accepts that he’s an asshole and toasts to it.

Act 3: Kanye finds out who his real friends are. He feels free. He falls in love with Kim and has learned from his past. He feels reborn. The album finishes with ultralight beam. Kanye has a family, he’s found god, through all the struggles he’s become a better man.


The title would either be “Wake Up Mr West!” Or “Mellon Kanye and The Infinite Sadness”

I like the track list! I think I would switch out "Never Let Me Down" with "Hey Mama" as Donda was his biggest influence/mentor figure imo. Kanye losing her, really fits in the Hero's Journey. Plus, the track "Only One" would then have a more meaningful moment in this list and it's a good call back to his mother. What do you think?

The first 8 songs on the album shows Kanye’s progression of fame and how it goes to his head. It also shows the effects that it has on the people around him including how his love life drastically changes.

The next 5 songs show Kanye’s deepening sadness as the thrill of fame stops satisfying him and his life keeps getting worse and he feels alone. As time goes on however, he comes to accept that he has made his fair share of mistakes and realizes the both positive and negative impacts of his actions on others.

After he’s come to terms with his actions and his guilt, he decides to go back home to Chicago. There he rediscovers the importance of family and religion. When he gets back to his life in the spotlight he isn’t the same Kanye we saw in the first 8 songs. He now prefers family and religion over fame. Kanye’s internal journey is complete.

I opted for Joseph Campbell's 17-stage hero's journey instead of the 12-stage one you used, simply because I felt it was too constraining.
I didn't have each song represent a single stage of the journey like you did; I was a bit more loose with myself. And I really love the results:

the story is simple, kanye falls is in love, hes an egotistical asshole, then his S/O cheats on him causing them to break up. Kanye then finds a new love and is on top of the world again. Then he realizes that he's been cheating this entire relationship. After she finds out theres another breakup. Kanye then turns to god for the answer, and heads back home to a humble life, having realized all of his past mistakes.

Its called "Yin Ye" to represent the Yin Yang of relationships. The cover would be kanye bear dressed in the robe and mask Ye wore on this yeezus tour, now black and covered in oil, running through the forest away from poice lights.

If I were to make the perfect kanye album, to me it would mean choosing the song that represents all of the aspects that make him such a great artist, the songs that trully showcases he's skillset, mindset and ambitions. Which is why I think the perfect Kanye song is Through The Wire. The underdog who came from the bottom and pushed through all adversity to make it to the top, and because of his mouth being wired shut sometimes his words gets lost on us. It has one of his best production, the best of his playful wordplay and rapping style, great ambitions for the future. It just a good song mn.
