Fun Fact- you don't need the AC adapter on Slim and E models

Yes of corse because the 360 slim was able to power the Kinect directly from the console but the older 360s did not have that special plug so you have to plug it into the wall to power the kinect

Also it came out when the Xbox 360 s came out so if you have one of those you don’t need the ac power adapter and there is already a port for it on that console it was just used to make the original Xbox 360 compatible with it
