That “sketch” where Horikoshi “revealed” her face isn’t even Tooru. It’s his assistants mangas character, drew it in celebration of their manga. You can even tell by looking at the actual face reveal and the sketch, their hair is very different.

It's very obviously not just "invisibility" but something more along the lines of photokinesis. I'm a firm believer that as she gets better and more experienced with controlling her quirk she will eventually be able to turn off her invisibility in some form.

If she can warp light, then she could make other things invisible. Interesting.
A theory... she could collect all the surrounding light and point it directly at someone. Making a laser, or lightray. She could also make some one blind by redirecting all the light going to their eyes.
She could hold also make an object or person fully black by not letting any light touch it.
If she can manipulate the light frequency, then she can change colours of her self or other things or people.
She could hide her shadow.

One thing I wish was that she could turn invisible and visible at Will. Even so, I completely understand and love her character

That girl in Todoroki's costume wasn't actually Hagakure, it was a crossover between MHA and one of Horikoshi's favourite animes. That's Kozaki Suzune from Saguri-chan Tanekentai, that tweet's information was wrong.

The fact that Hagakure was able to absorb the light that was the Navel Laser just shows that her powers are much more complex then simply “manipulating light.” She’s shown off how she’s able to cause light to alter the appearance of clothes before, so perhaps we’ll see other applications of light manipulation; perhaps a conventional way to absorb the light within a room and expel it in other ways? Or perhaps a way to counter light based powers? Who knows the ways that it can evolve from here, seeing as Toga and Shigaraki both had such large leaps in their Quirks, and the application of both (Toga being able to temporarily use the quirks of those she’s copying, and Shigaraki being able to decay things from a distance.) If this weren’t the last arc, I would love to see the evolution of some of the quirks of 1A and other characters that have become a bit more then the side characters they initially were.

Wait she can warp LIGHT? Thats actually so pretty op she can pretty much change the area around her no? Cause if she can warp light she can change the area around her to look different. She can pretty much make her own "domain expansion"(from jjk). This also means if she is able to perfect the light warp she can make other objects turn invisible. Like a gun💀 not only that but she could warp the light around a person to make them invisible aswell. So she's perfect for stealth missions.

She can legit make a group of heros go invisible and suprise attack the enemy. Yo hagakure is underrated.

I think it's less warping and more bending light, in all her scenes its shown that her body has to interact with the light, then it can be redirected. It's probably only useful for herself, and if it is only redirection she probably cant use it to change the environment with illusions or anything. One power I think she might have would be lasers tho. Essentially an extremely focused beam of light that she could probably do with some practice, and it will lessen her reliance on teammates (*coughaoyamacough*) and give her offensive attributes. Otherwise, simple flashbangs to disorient or certain light frequencies she may be able to use creatively. Hell, she might even be able to access UV and melt other people.
