Siren working with East Suffolk Council young apprentices in 2022

“Concerned about the future, nature, the climate, your wellbeing? But ‘What if it turned out great?’ Imagine making it happen”

This tagline introduced 6 young apprentices at East Suffolk Council to Luminous, a short workshop in February 2022 run by Siren Calling, led by our own young project leader.

We helped them examine their own aspirations and hopes for their future and, at the conclusion, asked them if thy could delivered their own version of this workshop to a public audience, about the power of imagination and creativity to shape our futures.

With time spent by them, and ESC staff, shaping their workshop, by 25th March they were ready to to deliver it to 25 public services professionals at the East Suffolk Community Partnership Forum at Trinity Park

Encouraging participants to see their world through younger eyes, sessions covered areas such as: the power of imagination; creativity as a form of self-expression; and managing mental health and wellbeing.
