I don’t know if you’ve seen it but the video of the late Kallistos Ware discussing the papacy on YouTube titled “Kallistos Ware on Catholic-Orthodox Unity” is one of the best discussions I’ve heard on the topic. I’m Orthodox, my husband is Irish Catholic, and I’m trying to understand the situation better. I am hopeful for unity one day. I appreciate the videos you make that call out the rotten apples of Orthodoxy *cough* Jay Dyer *cough* cause these rigorists and legalists are a real problem and do not truly represent nor teach the Phronema of the church

We can hope but I reeeeallly don't expect full unity to happen until the second coming of Christ. Even if one see comes Home to Rome there's still the others. As long as the Apostolic Churches remain divided its all smoke and mirrors with some minor yet charitable diologue and fraternal unity.

It would be good to hear your thoughts on the Alexandria Document released last week. I've heard Orthodox claiming it renounces papal supremacy - I doubt that!

The Catholic Introductory Handbook put out by St. Mary's Press within every chapter summarizes that for every Roman Catholic belief they also include the Orthodox similarity and stress that it is a different way of thinking or doing of equal value and merit. It seems to me this is evidence of working for unity. I'm not saying I support what's in the book. I'm just saying that it's in there.
