Tuk Tuk is the most expensive way to travel in Bangkok and yet still cheaper than anything in the UK. Elephant pants are only ever in fashion in Thailand, but they really are in fashion there, even the locals wear them. It's not safe to talk about the royal family in Thailand, it can end up with you in prison. In fact even giving a bad review on a business in Thailand can get you in big trouble. They don't respond to criticism well. £28 for a hostel is ridiculous, they saw you coming, you can get hotels for that. Also come to Malaysia. I have been here since 2009, never going back to the UK.
