Показать описание
The City of Peterborough has created a Modular Bridge Housing Community with 50 units to provide a new shelter/housing option for people who are experiencing homelessness. The Modular Bridge Housing Community complements the existing emergency shelter system and housing services. Elizabeth Fry Society is operating the site, providing 24/7 staffing and support for residents. The City is also working with One City to provide a new winter overnight drop-in space at the Trinity Centre on Reid Street.

Kitchener has been doing this for awhile now. Even supply 24/7 security, running water in the bathrooms, hot showers, medical van on standby, hydro, refuse cleanup and so on.
