@ageofthenorth you need also 'a gap' in the end of the hatchet and 'rope' through it. Add both, cuz you can lose it while doing hole in the ice, also you can create your own bow using "bending sticks above fire", it's then like a plastic gum

You got gaps all in your roof, need to close up the sides, put a tarp over your roof, put that fire more inside of the front of shelter, make a fire wall around fire so heat will come back into shelter, put cedar twigs down for a floor.

Excellent winter harvest! I wish I had some of that for my barley soup. I did find some huge oyster mushrooms right before watching this. They'll go in the soup. Yall look like you're on the old chain gang busting those rocks. Getting it done though. The raspberry patch is looking killer, I can't wait to see how next years berry harvest is!
