Definately check out "Dead dead demons dededede destruction" by Asano. Right now it's my favorite manga.

I was totally NOT expecting you to name Our Dreams at Dusk, and when you did I had to literally pause the video in shock. That's easily one of the most beautiful manga I've ever read, in all aspects of the work, and I've read the majority of what you suggested here. So the impact that manga had on me was huge. Thank you so much for recommending it! Much love from Latin America!

Some great choices brother. Not to add more to your list of things to read, but if you haven't yet, check out some other stuff by Asano. Between works like Solanin, Downfall, Ozanari-kun, Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction, and others, Asano really explores some interesting themes and narratives. Either way, always more great manga to find 👌

I don't want to force anyone to read it, but Dorohedoro is a top 5 in my list.
The author built such a great world with it's characters and distopic atmosphere.
What I love 'bout it is that it feels so unique in my eyes. The balance between Hole and the magic users' world.
The twists and mysteries bind to our... I wanted to say main character, but it wouldn't be true.
EVERY single side character has a purpose, and they're not just fillings in the story.
ah
I love you Dorohedoro

Oyasumi Punpun, Monster and Blood on the Tracks might be my top 3 manga ever, so I'm very excited to check out the rest of these. Lot of stuff I'd never even heard of. Kiitoksia!

I have a recommendation, dunno if you've read it but the manga is called Takopii's Original Sin. The manga is kinda like Oyasumi pun pun, but in like 19 Chapters, definitely recommend reading it.

Dude if you were down for bibliomania, the horizon, punpun and all those horrible tragic beautiful books you NEED to give "3 Days of Happiness" at least a couple chapters (Only 16 chapters). I've started reading or have finished probably 3/4 of this list and is to this day the only manga I've ever reread it goes so hard.

LET'S SOLOIST IN A CAGE!! if i had to describe it in one word, it's beautiful. however you interpret that beauty is subjective, but is beautiful. it's also getting an anime apparently!

My 2 favorite manga from 1st to 2nd favorite are Land of the Lustrous and the Girl from the Other Side. Both are fantastic fantasy stories with very different concepts and themes. Land of the lustrous is set in the far future on the last island on Earth, where gem people are hunted by strange creature from the moon for their luster. Its art pops with harsh contrast and soft sensuous linework unlike any other manga artist, and its story explores existential themes about how we find self worth and how society values us for who we are. It's engaging, tense, and deeply emotionally resonant, utilizing both its art and writing contiguously to draw out every last possible emotion you, as a reader, can have. It's a once in a lifetime masterwork by a honed artist with deep thoughts and a poignant, if painful, message.

The Girl From the Other Side is a medieval fantasy story framed in a fairytale setting that revolves mainly around the platonic relationship between two characters who care deeply for each other, and it explores how people can hurt each other even when they are close. The art is fantastic and the story is a tear jerker, although it's not devoid of hope or completely depressing.

I'd also put Fire Punch, Chainsaw Man, and Berserk on there in no specific order, but they fit somewhere in the top 5.

I also love this fantastic ongoing fantasy manga called Made in Abyss. It's absolutely incredible with the most detailed art in manga and a strange and exciting story. There's a pit in the middle of a remote island called the abyss, and it goes miles down underground. It has remnants of ancient civilizations, crazy monsters, and cursed artifacts throughout that inspire people to delve into it. However, the abyss has a curse that inflicts symptoms ranging from nausea to hallucinations to death and even worse that triggers only when living things ascend in the abyss. It works like a pitcher plant, it lures delvers in with the promise of something sweet until they can no longer escape. It's fantastic but hard to recommend because the author is a horrible person and inserts horrible things into the story. If the author wasn't a legitimate creep it would be 10/10, so take that recommendation with a caveat and do with that what you will.

I'm really glad HxH is back from hiatus. But don't let that distract you from the fact that bungee has the properties of both gum and rubber

Hey mate I appreciate you've checked out a few Shoujo/Josei, its a demographic thats heavily ignored. I can see many have given you great recommendations, as for varieties sake I'll recommend some fantastic Shoujos for you to read, hope you enjoy them!
- Basara: a classic from the 90s set in a post-apocalyptic japan about the adventure of the "child of destiny" set out to seek revenge for the murder of her brother and father. Extremely captivating and a truly strong enemies to lovers setting. Be mindful the artstyle is from the 90s i personally still consider it to be beautiful tho but yeah.
- Skip Beat: a hilarious revenge and coming of age story about a girl who realises she was used as maid by the boy she was in love with. She takes up acting in order to succeed better at job than the boy as that's his dream. A long running series I consider to be one of the greatest.
- Akatsuki no Yona: the story of a princess who has her whole world turn upside down after witnessing a coup attempted by her cousin. She now have to experience life outside her bubble and face the true realities of the world.
- A Sign of Affection: THE CUTEST LOVE STORY. mc was born deaf so a lot of the romantic scenes dont come from dialogue but pure visual imagery.
- My Broken Mariko: short story about a girl dealing with the suicide of her best friend (you will cry)
- Hibari no Asa: extremely hard read that deals with people's and society's perception of a developed 14 yr old girl and her struggle with it. (very very uncomfortable)
- IS: Otoko demo Onna demo nai Sei: starts off as short stories relating to intersex, but later focus on one character's struggle and experience with the condition
- The Unwelcome Guests of House Fildette: this manhwa is extremely messy in turns of the fucked up circumstances that has unwrapped. The dialogue is extremely strong and the drama/misunderstandings ARE THE BEST PARTS, usually we would hate them but no it makes so much sense in this story. The misunderstandings are a core elements of the story, extremely rare to see this troupe done well.

Do you like Berserk, Vagabond, and perhaps tournament-style manga most of all? May I introduce The Godfather of Tournament-style shōnen: Kengan Ashura.
It basically takes place in Underground arenas within Japan, connected through companies. It not only establishes the fighters and their characterizations, but also the CEOs they fight for and their relationships, as well as an insidious secondary plot slowly building up as the tournament continues.
It’s fun in the sense that it’s not really typical in the powerscaling; everyone is capable of countering another person in some way or form, even in an absolute physical disadvantage. It always manages to keep you guessing. Also, while it is often compared to Baki, it is much more grounded and somewhat superior in quality.
The fights are hardcore, the art is amazing, and it’s part of every gym bro’s go-to along with Baki and Berserk.

I'm really into a lot of soul crushing manga (I'm writing this in the middle of the vid and was about to recommend bibliomania but you where ahead of me But yeah, all your recommendation are really useful, you're selling really well vagabond and not simple, it's really giving me motivation to read them, really cool top.
Two manga that I can recommend are "the girl from the other side", a really pretty story that feels like a walk in a forest from the grimm brothers with the tale of two being completely different and trying to live their life despite the future ahead of them (it's 121 chapters long, or 11 volumes and there's also an OVA that has been out for a few month). And the other one that I haven't read (gonna be published in my country in January 2023 (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻) is takopi no genzai and it's apparently worse than punpun in terms of soul crushing stuff, but I hear a lot of good of it's story so far, it's only 9 chapters long or 2 volumes.
