With that one thumbs down, Senator McCain save thousands if not hundred of thousands of lives.

I watched Charlie Plumbs story today. He knew McCain. He reminded me that John could not comb his own hair because he broke both of his arms and never got medical attention at the Hanoi Hilton that would plague him for the rest of his life. He was THE Admirals Son. John could have been released right away but wouldn’t have been able to live with himself if he had. He stayed for his men. They communicate with a tap code which gave them hope and camaraderie. 6 years and more than his share of torture.
This was a true American hero!
He also lost a lot of shipmates on the USS Forestal from the explosion on the deck. There is video of him shinnying down the nose of his A-4 to escape the inferno.
If tRump knew his history and had an ounce of the courage John McCain had he would’ve been a tiny bit deferential to him. But he doesn’t have that ounce of courage and integrity!
It took that courage to give that thumbs down. It wasn’t just him, it was his whole Party that gasped when he did that! He did not do that out of spite, he did that for the American people!
Thank you John McCain for your lifelong Service to your Country. WE SALUTE YOU SIR!

I forget she was there representing me as our California Senator. That was such an epic moment of when old school Republicans that would negotiate what is better for our country instead of just blocking everything so they can say they "stick it to the Dems". John knew Trump had no plan and was around when the ACA was negotiated. Time flies!
