In distance formula the coordinate (7, 8) is actually marked as (6, 8).

Sorry sir but the coordinate (7, 8) is wrongly marked in the graph. It is indicating (6, 8). That's why if we are counting the points on x axis it comes 13. Plz clear the doubt.
